It’s all about your perception !
Everyone knows how to smile. It’s not me nor even baba sitting inside your t.v. and asking for money, who will tell you how to seek happiness. I am not saying that we are lying to you. You know one of my friend says that if there is 15% truth in his sentence then he is not lying. Baba or I can only tell you things which make us happy and might also help you to stay happy. Believe me, it’s not a thing or theory to explain. Happiness is a feeling, you can only feel it.
Let me tell you a story. Once king Akbar was sad, without any specific reason! Every nav rattan of his kingdom tried their best to bring the smile on his face but all their efforts went in vain. As always “Akbar k Birbal” came as a saviour. He asked the king to go on a walk with him. He took the king to a nearby garden where small poor kids were playing. The kids were making toys from sand. King forgot everything and started playing with them. He smiled, giggled and laughed a lot that day. After coming back to the kingdom, everyone could see a smile on kings face. He was satisfied at that time. He was happy at that time 🙂
Friends I am happy when my family and friends are happy, I am happy when I see an old couple helping each other, I am happy when I see a new couple happy, I am happy when I am in nature, I am happy when I give my 100% to a job and people are satisfied with my job, I am happy when I see someone’s pain gone, I am happy when I see a meaningful awesome movie, Friends I cried of happiness when I encountered one of happiest moments of my crush’s life.

People just…. LIVE! I have mine… go and find your PACKET OF HAPPINESS 🙂
Ever wonder why you start sleeping early in night as you grow old?
Yes, office work, responsibility etc.. etc… I know, But who started this and why? Well being an engineer I know that functioning of our body is synchronised with the functioning of sun, still I think there is more to this. So here is what I came up with, at 4:30 A.M.
When we are young we are curious about everything and we ask questions to our parents or for that matter anyone we are close to. Since we are young, we are not able to rationalize those answers. We accept things as they are and these answers imprint on us. As we grow till the age when we understand things on our own and we try to do things on our own, we are stopped by the others (rather I should say our own people). When we grow old enough when we have full control on ourselves (which we actually never have) we feel some resistance. This resistance is because of rationality. By this time we are well aware of the concept, “survival of the fittest.” This voice of rationality creates resistance to that. Now as we start living Charles Darwin’s concept, we try to compress voice of rationality. We are able to do this all day long because, Huh! Who are we kidding can we? We only have time to listen to what we are told to do. All noises win over our own voice and survival wins over rationality.
But nights, nights are beautifully quite. Nights are so quite that we have an eruption of rational thoughts. We have floods of our rational thoughts and we struggle to gasp breath in this chaos.
And we are afraid to of this flood. It’s more devastating than tsunami as it do a lot of destruction and no one is able to see where. So we sleep. It’s same as “Soja warna thoughts ajayenge”
And till the time we reach an age when we can tell others what to do, we are engraved with Darwin’s concept of survival and there are no trace of rationalization.
Funny! Isn’t it?
As I looked at my numb red shivering hand I realized something… I realised that few moments back that person I was hitting was me and I played the role of my mother… That particular moment I realized how hard it was for her to beat me… How hard it was for her to hit me so that I realise what have I done wrong… She beat me so that I can understand that there was something wrong which I did and I can’t do that again… Yes she was disappointed with me… But the thing more important to her was to make me realize my mistake… Make me understand my mistake…. That person I was hitting may or may not understood his mistake but my paining hand made me realize how her hands also pained till the next day along with that little pain in her heart.
I fought! I fought! I fought!
I failed because I am standing right here,
I am standing right here where I started….
Once I had to shout so that I could speak
And now again I am speechless…
People changed, situation is Same!
And I am sitting here,
Once a hope changed situation,
Now I m just waiting for that hope to arise,
And change the situation for once and all!
“You have received least mark in your class!” echoed in her mind continuously on the way back to the hostel. For two days, she could hear his voice with the same pace and intensity. His voice haunted her. She issued a book from the library and tried to study. The result was same. She could not perform well. In the quiz, he asked her, “Have you even studied for this paper?” She said nothing. She hated his voice, she hated the way he mocked her, she hated him, but she never gave up on herself. Usually, she loses all hope and stops studying instead. But this time she hasn’t! She studied a lot but then too result was no good. In next semester, he was teaching her 2 courses. She studied for both. She liked one but don’t know why she never got appreciable marks. Then one day, she went to college to see marks of quiz of a subject in which she was less interested. Seeing her come in he said, “XXXXX YYYYY has performed well in this exam.” Those words!!!! It was one of the best moment if her life. She didn’t even know how to react so was blushing instead. She never felt so much motivated in her life. She could clearly listen to all three sentences of him at the same time and yet was happy!
You know sometimes in life just one simple sentence can motivate you so much that even a lecture can’t. The person who haunts you the most can be the best source of motivation. You just have to look differently.
Remember one thing, “You have to fight through bad days to earn good ones!”
